FAQs
I am a newbie, can I use it?
Of course you can, but it is recommended to start with a small 3.5-meter balloon.
How much wind does a large soft kite need to fly?
Generally, a force 3-5 wind (about 12-38 km/h) is required. Too little wind will not support it, and too strong wind will cause the risk of damage.
How many people are needed to fly a large soft kite?
Depending on the size of the kite:
Small (under 5 meters): 1 person
Medium (5–10 meters long): 2 people are sufficient.
Extra-large (over 20 meters): 2–5 or more people are required, often using an anchor or vehicle to secure the main line.
Can large soft kites be flown with ordinary strings?
No. You must use high-strength professional kite string (such as polyester or Kevlar). The thickness and tension are selected according to the size of the kite, usually in the range of 200–1000 kg.
What are the safety precautions for flying large soft kites?
You must fly in a wide area (such as a beach or large lawn), avoiding power lines, buildings, or roads.
Use fixed anchor points (sandbags, ground spikes, or vehicle bodies) to prevent the kite from dragging anyone.
Pay attention to the safety of spectators and prevent the kite from suddenly falling and hitting anyone.
Flying kites during thunderstorms is strictly prohibited.
How to maintain large soft kites?
Dry thoroughly after use to prevent moisture and mold.
Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight to minimize fabric degradation.
Fold neatly when storing to avoid scratches.
Regularly inspect the seams, cord locks, and airbag openings for damage.
Will a large soft kite fall and damage things?
Risky. Due to its large size and light weight, it can cover a wide area and potentially cover vehicles, trees, or people. Therefore, it is important to choose an open, safe area and maintain a safe distance.
